2020 weekly weight loss weight progress thread
Thought this be fun... get some support form each other. But most importantly a progress thread.
I’m starting today...after a 1.5 yr dirty bulk from 155lb. Here’s my week 1 weigh in...target is 150lbs |

155 pounds doesn't seem so bad...when you're 57"~ 5'9"
It's just all about health, happiness & family. The rest are just necessary inconvenience we have to deal with. |

I’m 6’2 ~ 172 Lbs. I never gain or loses more than a few pounds. I’ve been this size since about grade 11.
My friends and family say I’m lucky because my dad is built the same so it must be genetic. There may be some truth to that, but I also work pretty hard to stay in shape. I work out 6 days a week, always have. No super heavy weights, no killer cardio, but consistency day in day out. Working out is important but more important is what you put into your body. What’s that saying ... Abs aren’t built in the gym, they’re built in the kitchen Good luck on your weight loss quest and remember, drink lots of water. I know you weren’t looking for advice, just sharing what’s worked for me YMMV. Excited to see your progession |

Bit the bullet about 2 years ago and dropped 50 lbs.
Been very consistent since then- goal this year is to spend more time in the gym. Good luck with your goal- remember nothing taste’s as good as skinny feels :) |

Yes it’s just discipline. Mostly around food intake. My weight gain was intentional. I don’t like being small so I tend to go through bulk and cut phases. It’s really hard packing on muscle for me without gaining weight. I can tone up just fine but my goal is at some point get to 170 lbs ripped. But thats multiple years from now. Last time around getting to a 6 pack was 145 lbs. and under. Have to be honest at 145lb and close to 10% body fat. I felt small. So up and downs... now the journey for the next little while will be down... losing weight gives me something else to focus on |

I pushed myself to try and hit 200 over the holidays. I just about hit it, but didn’t.
I’m 195 today. Goal is my ideal weight of 180. I haven’t been there in two years. But I’ll make it happen this year. Slow and steady.

Good thread. Good luck to all. I’m a 5’8 yo-yo and last year I slowly crept up to 196 due to stopping exercise and showing poor restraint at the table. After getting good habits back I trimmed down to 163. My goal is to stabilize and maintain 160-165 range and avoid creeping back up.

Good luck Ninja. I have the opposite problem and am supposed to put weight on. Anyway, food is more important than exercise, unfortunately.

Regular_weight_ninja just doesn't have the same ring to it.
Exercise is good even if you don't change how/what you eat. Sitting on a computer all day doesn't help. Move more. Good luck. |

I'm 6'2" and weighed in at 166 yesterday. My goal is is get down to 157 for my half marathon at the end of February. I hardly hit the gym at all in December due to injury so the fat gain and muscle loss is pretty noticeable. I'm normally about 160.
I'll update my weekly weigh in. Good luck!
