Omega Mesh Bracelets...

Hi all,

I have a speedmaster and was thinking it would look cool on a mesh bracelet. I'm still somewhat new to Omega and am wonder if there are any recommendations in terms of mesh bracelets... does Omega make one? Or would this be an aftermarket part? Is there a "best" one?

Please let me know and if you have one on a speedy please post a pic!

Thanks!
Greg

I have the Omega Mesh diving bracelet for my 145.012 speedy pro and I love it. It is not the "accepted" mesh bracelet that was made for and used by NASA, but I wasn't crazy for that one anyway.

Omega does make a newer one, but you can get the older one NOS from : http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-OMEGA-1...item1c395e850e They have 5 right now.

I have above average hairy arms and I have not had a single hair pull since I've been wearing it.

Once again I love this bracelet and have to say it is my most comfortable bracelet to date.....beating out my oyster 93150.

I'll try to post images later on, I'm at work, but I promise that the money was well spent!

Pete

there are a number of mesh bracelets that may work. My PO 2500D was a limited production model that came on a "mesh" or shark cage bracelet and it has become one of my favorite wearers because the bracelet is so comfortable! Give it a try

Keep in mind that the new mesh bracelets are not identical to the old ones, where the ends meet the lugs. I, and I'm not knocking the new ones, prefer the way the older ones look.

Also price for new one is about $1K or more and the older one is about 1/3 of that

Hey Pete,
How easy is it to shorten the mesh bracelet?
