Some times it's the seller and not the watch
Rolex Daytona 116520 Stainless Steel Black Dial 40mm for Men's
The watch is fine, but the seller is a liar and a thief . . . |

Blow up the pics, the watermark on the right bottom corner are from HODINKEE I do believe., I could be wrong but that’s what it looks like to me.

Elaborate?
A zero feed-back user who registered in the last 6 days, offering a $10,000+ Daytona, new, without boxes or papers for $2000, no reserve, photos of unknown origin, and a dubious guarantee of authenticity?
One would have to be pretty gullible to believe this user actually has a watch to sell. Oldest scam in the world, right after 'I inherited it from my grandfather' . . . |

I looked, could be something there - but HOODINKEE appears to watermark on the left??

If you're looking for a watermark . . .
. . . you've lost the plot.
Looking at an auction like this one my first thought is, 'why should I bid on this?'. Is it because of the seller's stellar experience / feed-back for selling similar items? Is it because of his longevity on the site? Is it because the seller's guarantee of authenticity is so reliable? The answer, of course, is that there is no earthly reason to believe one syllable in this auction. The seller in this auction would be no more reliable than the stranger sitting next to you on a cross-town bus. As we all know, eBay does zero vetting prior to letting a new user list items for sale, so IMHO, there is no watch, the description and photos are stolen, and the bidding is high with three days to go not because it's a great deal, but because there are guys out there who see it's a scam, and who are trying to disrupt the process. |

Auction deleted, seller banned
User ID marilynshayur_0 No longer a registered user
The description and photos of a genuine watch were stolen by a seller who was a liar and a thief. Logic, reason and critical thinking dictate that new, zero feed-back sellers do not arrive on the scene and offer $10,000 watches for their first auctions . . . |
