Wowee!

What a beautiful honking piece of metal.

I read that its also smaller and is now cast out of Omega steel. A true statement piece IMHO.

I love dive watches and don't care what you think.

The dial is something else.

I'm still on the hunt for an Ultra Deep. I'll wear that brick as a daily. No qualms whatsoever!

source for this pic? I'm undecided on the new ploppy. Unfortunately, because almost all the pics I've seen so far have been taken in bright sun (which Fratello says kind of exaggerates the look/colors), this is making it more difficult to tell how it really looks in more ambient lighting.

An exercise in lazy watchmaking.
Same movement, blue on blue illegible dial.

I like it a lot.
Don't understand the pricing (£3500) more than the titanium one on the titanium mesh was. But I no longer understand the pricing of most brands nowadays- so I guess it's normal.

I pulled it off of Instagram but not sure who the user was. Sorry! I have so many watch people that I follow and my feed is filled with them.

Yeah, I really like it but just realized the price is shy of $15k. Not sure I'd wear it enough to warrant that.

I have to say I'm a huge fan of this - especially the monocoque case, the slightly reduced size, and the revised crown system. I'm also a fan of this colourway... which is unusual as I'm usually a stickler for the original colourways on "modern-retro" pieces.

I'm a massive Ploprof fan - I owned the original rerelease in steel, but sold it when the titanium version came out as I despise 4:30 date positions, especially on 3 handers. I then bought the titanium version, but missed the heft of the steel and I wasn't a fan of the display back: to me the Ploprof is about heavyweight function over form, so the ti version went as well. This one "fixes" all those issues, as well as bringing back the monocoque case (which should've been there from the start on the rereleases)

I'll be interested to see if Omega eventually release a colourway more akin to the original (black bezel / blue dial, or at least all black, with the orange minute hand) in this new case.

I’ve always loved the Ploprof so naturally I think this new Ploprof is great news, it’s a few millimetres smaller in diameter and thickness than the previous model which may give it broader appeal but I really don’t get the tiny hour hand which ruins the dial, for that reason I think I will stick with my steel Ploprof.

Does anyone know when the new releases will hit ADs for sale? Not that talking heads on YouTube are reliable but one ‘watch reviewer’ said November and one ‘watch buyer’ who ordered the new SM from an Omega boutique was told it could be two weeks or two months. Anyone know for certain?

I mean I saw a few of these at a Boutique a week before they were released, so some of them probably rather quickly. I saw the Diver 300, World Timer, and AT.

If that’s true what another blunder. Let’s release 11 “Summer” dials in Winter. Sometimes I just don’t get the industry

I mean those colorful OPs from 22 are coming now

They seem to be hitting boutiques worldwide with some being available for sale. Not sure if discounts are happening on new launches and by how much.

Not for me. People say the Air King is ugly...not. This is ugly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, that's for sure.

There's a certain beauty to the ugliness.

I've always loved the Ploprof for some reason, and this just takes it to another level.
