Seemingly harder and harder o find correct pp's these days, do you have any remarks about this item?
link to norwegian auction site Omega Constellation Pie-Pan caliber 561, 1963 Shouldnt these come with that hexagon-like crown?

Looks good to me, can't tell if that's wear on the lower left lug or a reflection though. I would also like to get a look at the back medallion to see if it's in good condition.
Usually they come with that octagon/hexagon crown (can't remember which), but I think there are some pie-pans that came with different styled crowns. |

Since there's no a photo of the case back the gold observatory may be very worn, not a good sign. The crown has been replaced, just like mine. I'm also concerned about the lower left lug. Unless it's very inexpensive you should be able to find a much better example. You'll be glad you did, I'm very fond of my Connie.

Yes, they should come with a 2mm decagonal crown, but crowns are no longer produced and OMega now supplies the round crowns as replacement.
Dial look ok, but, really, you need much larger pics to ascertain if it is an original and not refinished dial. Lugs look sharpish and hands look ok. I'm suspecting the medallion may be ok too. It really is courageous of anybody tday to purcahse a 168.005 without pics of inner caseback and movement and large head-on dial pics. These are one of the most frankened of all Co nnies of the period. Regards Desmond Quote:
