Qustions on winding an Omega 1152 movement

I just picked up used Speedmaster with a 1152 movement. I have a question on the winding; mine turns easily with a "ratcheting" feel while turning clockwise in first position. However turning it clockwise is very hard and stiff to do, with no clicking/racheting feel. Is this normal? Are they only supposed to be wound counterclockwise?

Thanks!

From the research I could find online, I don't think this is normal. Anyone have thoughts?
