Rolex trade for Omega?
I have had a TT Datejust model 1601 Rolex for years. I bought it used and it is a 1972 model that has jsut been serviced. A Gentleman would like to trade me his Seamaster Professional Automatic + $200.00 for the Rolex. He just had the Omega serviced. I have never owned an Omega. Is this a good trade? I have vision problems and I can really see the Seamaster as well as any watch I have looked at. Thanks

Which Omega ref? A used SMP Professional 2531.80 (for example) normal sells between $900-$1200 depending on condition/wear.
You do your math here and see if it's worth it. Also, if you have visio problems, the Omega does not have a cyclops so you may have a hard time reading the date on the Omega not being magnified.

Cool. Good luck with your deal. The blue wave dial is nice on this Bond watch.

Sounds like you need a bigger watch to
assist your vision. How about a 45.5mm Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean instead? |

That one was my first 'nice' watch ever.

I think you'll like that watch, blue is cool and the skeleton hands are very noticeable at night IMHO

Congrats on the incoming iconic blue Bond Seamaster. Sounds like a "win/win" for both of you. Don't forget to post pics!
