Tudor Submariner 76100 Blue

TRF friends... what say you on this Blue 76100 on ebay?

ebay.co.uk/itm/156109789455

I am chasing either a blue 79090 or 76100... bit of a project no problem!

Preference is for a blue 76100 but with lollipop hands.

For me; insert here (or at least the pip) and hands 'stand out'... dial stated as service, which looks correct.

Papers not punched, but lots of paperwork.

Quite like a 7836 - got one on my blue 411, but Rolex clasp.

For me if I'm going 76100 it needs to have the original lollipop hour hand and a tritium dial. Not sure I could get on with the luminova dial, which is what I think this is. Especially for the price they are asking. I would wait, but if it speaks to you then I think you should go for it.

Lollipop for the win... Wearing my black one at the moment but hands can be swapped easily. Late 76100 came with Merc hands but that hour hand looks a little short for me.

I know what you mean about the luminova dial. An 'original' T-dial with lollipop is ideal but having finished my 9411 projects... I am kind of up for getting something for the right price (which this perhaps isn't) and tracking down the parts.

But... dial + insert (if AM) + hands... price starts to look punchy!

Dom, I have my '89 79090 on right now and comparing the dial and handset to this one you're considering. The hour hand does look a tad short. IMO this watch at £5,995.00 is a good bit over-priced given the replacement dial and handset. I'm also questioning if the case has been re-cut as that chamfer looks mighty thick and clean compared to what I have seen in other examples.

I noticed the chamfers as well... Recut case no issue for me... but the reason I asked here is that there are a few things that put me off. Would be interested to know what the previous ebay authenticity certificate says.
