Does that come with the bracelet and two straps?

Lovely Cartier, and yes why wait as there are MANY great timepieces available.

Another great choice is the Bvlgari Octo S, no lines, no waiting, great movement and 8 year warranty too.

Thank you all for your kind comments.
Robert, Trippinjimmy... as requested - photos with the rubber strap. I actually didn't plan on using the strap as I liked the steel bracelet so much - only fitted and sized as you guys requested photos. I'm so glad I did - I like it a lot more than I thought I would have!

Its a beautiful watch - I actually tried that one on first and really liked it, moreso than my wssa0037. It comes with both a leather (alligator I think) and rubber strap.
It was a really tough decision, but I went with the one I chose instead as it came with the metal bracelet.

I’m with you. The Cartier is nice. I’ve purchased over 8 Rolexes (including SS models) and jewelry for my wife and still don’t appear to rank on SS sport model lists from my AD. I’m tired of knowing that my AD provides models to other key clients, but I’ve been on the “waitlist” for a Pepsi since Baselworld 2017! Part of it is competing with the likes of Chris Jenner’s beau and their good friend Ellen, but the rest makes no sense. I’ve been grabbing excellent GS models and Omegas in the interim, but this is ridiculous. Nice Cartier and great choice!

I bought an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra last year. My next could be a Cartier or GS. Do not like the Rolex policy of keep away from customers.

The full ALDC watch comes with the leather and rubber straps as stated above. I plan on using it primarily on the rubber since I already have watches on leather straps and bracelets. The 0037 on bracelet looks great, as well!

Really like that rubber strap! Great watch as well of course.

Agree about not playing the rolex games. I have the only rolex I care to have an old DJ36 that I like as much as any other model they offer and didn't have to play a game to get. There are so many other amazing watch brands who want your business no reason to deal with a brand/company who doesn't.

Many congrats, Cartier doing some nice stuff! There are so many nice watches out there! I dont mind the hype surrounding certain brands/models. Means there are some super pieces immediately available from other brands which are completely under the radar often available at discount.

Picked up this Zenith today for a lower cost than an Oyster Perpetual. Delighted with it - exceptional!

Good choice. Surprised the AD would play games for a Tudor. I have the BB58 blue but would love to add a Santos to the collection. I like how the ADLC has a brushed bezel. I’ve heard the nightmare stories of the polished bezel ones being an absolute scratch magnet. Originally wanted the white dial but may have to reconsider.

Hi Phooi I really liked both the white and blue dials especially the blue that had the applied silver numerals that the other Santos' don't. Really beautiful. In the end, I decided against both. I saw a few that were a few months old and the mirror finish bezel was full of tiny scratches. I dont think it'll bother most people, but it would have driven me nuts lol. This is probably the main reason I went for the ADLC option.

Hi all, having been on Rolex AD lists for over 2 years with no joy in obtaining a GMT Ceramic Pepsi, I thought I'd go and purchase a Tudor Black Bay 58 blue - I piece I also really like. I was disappointed. I never thought I'd have to get on a list for a Tudor. What was worse, one AD said they'll consider me for one but will need to look at my purchase history at the store. I was taken aback... I'm sure it's been said before, but the fact that a company was in a position of deciding weather they would provide me with a product that I'd be paying for was, I feel, disrespectful. This didn't sit well with me and decided to look at other brands, brands whose distributors would show some respect for their paying customers. Enough ranting, I needed to get that off my chest.

In the end, I revisited Cartier. Previously, I'd never been a fan of their offerings, looking a bit oldy worldy and dainty to me. When passing by a boutique, I noticed The Santos de Cartier in steel with a black ADLC bezel. It really stood out to me - had to try it on. When I did, I was sold. It felt so natural on my wrist, svelte, but bold at the same time. I loved the screws on the bracelet and bezel. It gave the curved, slim body an elegant yet industrial look - something I hadn't seen Cartier execute well before. It was also great that it came with a rubber strap which changed the look to much more casual.

Roll on a few weeks, the watch arrived yesterday. Here are some photos along with the other watches in my collection. Hope you enjoy.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who have spent their money away from Rolex due to the way I feel they are treating their customers. Customers who really love their designs and would buy them if only they were available. Lifes too short to wait years for a watch, and on principle, I wouldn't feel comfortable paying over the retail price.

That's a great collection. I've got the white skydweller and a blue Santos, I'd love to get that Azzuro DJ at some point.

For anyone on the fence, Cartier watches are fantastic so long as you like the style of course. What's good about Cartier is that their designs are timeless, unique and iconic. You also don't typically buy a Cartier as a consolation prize, you buy it because it's a Cartier. I shudder when I see these types of threads with people flocking to Omega for example (seamaster) because they can't get a sub (as opposed to actually wanting one in the first place).

Enjoy your amazing collection and wear them in good health.

I own a Seamaster and a Sub. If you blocked out the brand names on both and showed them to John Q. Public, I imagine the public would be evenly split on which they prefer.

Gorgeous pics! I found a guy on ebay who sells replacement straps (only person on earth apparently) for the Santos. Fingers crossed that it fits and is of high quality!

I too would be interested!

The bracelet is great. The straps are just OK imo. And the deployant clasp is not the greatest. I wish I could get a nice long rubber strap with a tang buckle for swimming.

Little tip. Get a Sunshine cloth. It’s a yellow dry buffing cloth that will remove light scratches from the polished bezel. It’s a lot easier and less messy than trying to use a compound or a greasy cape cod cloth.
