A special incoming...
I have been waiting for my first Rolex for about 6 months, got the call yesterday afternoon and picked up my new Sub Date yesterday evening. Love the watch and its my first Rolex (have an omega and a tudor). I was enjoying the watch and the very unexpected call. My previous watches all are tied to a certain event, this one was just a random purchase essentially.
First thing this morning, i found out my grandfather passed away late yesterday...this watch will always be tied to the passing of a great man that i have a life full of memories with. Will cherish it always. now onto the pic: |

Congratulations Dan.
Bitter sweet, but perhaps you can take the happiest of thoughts of your grandfather and tie them to this watch. |

Tough news today DaninFlorida, sorry to hear about your grandfather. Hopefully you'll think about the good things when you look at your watch and not just today.

Excellent purchase: nothing like the first one!
Sorry to hear about your grandfather - no matter how much we try to prepare for these things, it's always really sad. But, since the watch is forevermore associated with this event: make it a celebration of his life and all the joy he brought to you over the years. Sent from my SM-A520W using Tapatalk |
