Actually it is not a Platona, but a tuned whitegold one...

See above, dial is OEM.

Just to emphasize again, i did NOT design this mod for pretending intensions or anyting like that, i just love the whitegold Daytona on strap, love the platinum iceblue dial, hate the brown bezel on the platona and also can’t afford it. Then you end up with something like this watch ;)

I have vistited a few AD’s wearing this watch and one manager initially screamed, “what the....how enhh ?!” and then “they should have made it like that!!

Congrats! Daytona looks very ... rather extremely nice! Enjoy it and do not pay attention to purists! Makes fun doing a project like this and when outcome is as gorgeous as yours its triple the fun then. Looking forward to see your next adventure. Let us know which is the German strap maker?
