Rolex GMT Master II 126711CHNR VS 116613LB

My local AD is expecting the new rootbeeer in this week, looking forward to seeing it! When it arrives I have to decide if I want it. Not sure if the the everose
is just part of the current trend.I like the blue sub it is a classic and very nice and not easy to get either. Any thoughts?

Personally I feel the Bluesy is a watch you get first before something like a CHNR.

Bluesy is iconic. CHNR well its new so we will see.

Both are the best two tone watches in the Rolex lineup, for me the gmt is more subtle and the rose gold works better with steel than the yellow gold. Also new movement and extra gmt functionality are great value a compared to diver watch that will almost never dive. The only advantage the sub has over the gmt is that great blue dial. Man it is mesmerizing.

The Blue dial is a classic! It’s one of my favorites

I've had the TT Blue, the dial is great but overall the piece is much "louder". I've had the CHNR since May - it is a beautiful piece, much more discreet and warm.

While I like the CHNR very much, and plan to add it to my collection, can’t phantom ever losing the passion I have always had for the Bluesy. Never gets old. That dial is amazing. Don’t consider it flashy, but even if so, why care?
The mere word Rolex is an attention getter.

I think when you see it in the flesh you'll know. And the good news...if you decide to get it, you can still flip it for a bluesy should you so choose and not get hurt.

I agree with this . See them both in the flesh but I'm biased
towards the Bluesy. Good luck...

Chnr? Nice look with new tech.

Interestingly, many of us are considering TT watches now when even just 1 year ago it was a non-discussion.

OP, did you fall into that catergory?

Between the two, I would pick based on the functionality you will use. I wanted a low profile GMT for business travel and bought the IIc LN. This way, I wear one watch for travel and meetings. The bluesy is for other days when I don’t mind wearing a watch as flashy as LB can be.

it depends on what u have right now in ur collection.....i think LB adds a splash of the colour to the collection while as CHNR is a understated and gorgeous piece
