discontinued Panerai

I am interested to buy a Panerai and searching a little about which model to buy but I figured out that Pam has lot of discontinued models.
the new references that I was interested starts with 1320 and 1321 but those have the disturbing blıue color at the second hand.

Rolex at the other side got very little discontinued models.
just want to know from experienced people here how reliable Panerai is

The oldest pam I have is 111E from 2002,bought it pre owned in 2006 and still working up to now, just had it serviced twice, once because I stupidly overwound the watch and once for the slipped mainspring

Previous edition of 1320-1321 is 320-321,I have 441 from 2013 with same movt as 320 and it's reliable

There are many “discontinued” models because most are limited or special editions.
