TRF Group memberships - A dorklehead question

Looking at my profile, I find I am a member of some social groups that I have no idea why or how or who or when I joined etc. Can someone tell me how to remove myself from social groups? I found out I am a member of the social group of New York Law Enforcement, current and previous members. I mean absolutely no disrespect to that group, and enjoy it if you happen to be a member, but the only association I have with New York Law Enforcement is on the WRONG side of Law Enforcement. I am a member of one or a couple others that I really have no association with and would like to be removed.

Thanks!
