The phishing sign-in link that you posted has been disabled.

If you post another such link, you will be removed from the Forum.

Not really sure what you’re talking about. I have been a quality member of this form for years. I received a private message about helping a member. If it was a scam I did not know anything about it.

How about trying to educate forum members before threatening to remove me from the forum?

Also, if it is helpful, here is the account information of the person that sent me the private message. Always happy to help. And, I won’t threaten you in anyway.

I don't know you, and I don't know who is using your account. You certainly don't know me.

You posted to the Forum a common fake log-in page, used to mine member data and log-in information, and exposed members to potential loss of their forum privileges and identies.

Usually, we ban outright for such a post. I reviewed your history and chose to simply disable the url so you could avoid the hassle of getting back onto the forum.

Seethe all you want - posting phishing links is a banning offense.

Whatever. You guys don’t mind spamming my email account wanting money for annual memberships…. but I can’t make an honest mistake without a threat of being banned. Ban me if you want, for making an honest mistake (it’s your privilege, as you point out). I’m sure you’ll remove this thread as well, to cover up your pissy response.

That same posting history you reference should have been an indicator that the mistake was unintentional.

You could’ve just said, “Hey Eric, you accidentally posted a phishing link. Please be more careful”.

You get spam emails to be a pledge member? I’ve never received one of those. Seems they may be phishing emails too.

I don’t think I got it but I’d have taken it more as a courtesy so you maintain pledge status.

Nothing is good or bad but thinking makes it so.

Whoops, sorry about that. I will be more careful. I certainly appreciate your measured response to an obviously honest mistake.
