Mcasseba is a fraud

I purchased an Omega Speedmaster from “Mcasseba”. After paying him and him making excuses for not shipping I let the mods know in an email. They banned him last night. When I asked the seller for a refund this morning he replied with “You already got me banned” and “Is that not enough”. I told him I wanted a refund or I would report to the police. He replied with “Please call the Police”. He has not replied to any text or calls since then. In all likelihood I will be out the $3950 I paid him. I have filed a police report and let them know I want to press charges. I will follow up and report through FBI fraud tomorrow.

This was a user who had recent sale and feedback from another user here. He has been a member since 2015. I will never pay via Zelle or Wire again.

Please be careful on here guys. If anyone would like anymore details please let me know.

Sorry to state the obvious, but if you buy gray, buy from a well established gray seller who is a regular seller.

Not everyone on here is gray market, bear in mind. I imagine there are others like me who just own watches and might be looking for a way to sell or trade them.

Best go to an established grey dealer.

I’m not sure what you are saying here. I’m out the money and aware of the risk of buying on here. I’ve been contacted by the old man in Georgia who’s account I paid the money too. He found me on Facebook. He said it was all his girlfriend from Nigeria and he was under the impression that he was getting a loan from her cousin. I still have an open case with my local police department until the man hopefully pays the money back.

They don't say "buy the seller" for nothing .. Good decision for reporting him. Hope you get your money back!

So three people walk into a bar. A seller, an old Georgia man and a Nigerian girlfriend... One stole the money... Who done it?

You only need a picture of a Rolex (or Omega) and an unwary customer to achieve a scam.
