Thanks for the reply.
Queries i sent asking for history, previous sales etc i recieved emails with vague attempts to insist on bank transfer before meeting and some nonsense about business id being exchanged.
Very sloppy.

I find this post very strange. I understand you as a buyer who wants to make sure the watch is ok, but you forget that there is also seller's risk. Going somewhere to meet with a stranger to sell a watch without pre-caution measures. I ask myself if there were any red flags for you to leave this post, - no. We only exchanged few emails and I have no idea who are you except for the country you come from. I will not deal with you.
