What is your longest owned Rolex watch?

I started getting into watches around 2015 and this has not left my collection ever since. I know there are way more seasoned collectors on here so really curious to see your first rolex watch, when you got it and whether you still own it! Pics encouraged!

I have a TT DJ that my Father purchased for me in 1986. A stainless sub date has been my daily watch since 2003.

Currently it's a 116660 that's nearly 11 years old which is not going anywhere.
Prior to that the record holder was a 5513 at about 30 years or so.

Same watch one year later. I started in 2007 with a 36mm Datejust but that’s long gone.

5513 Maxi MK1 bought new in 1980, now with a D19 True Dome plexi, like in the good ol' days.

Pure Zubmariner design.

TT DJ when I finished law school in ‘84. Previously had a DJ midsize my parents gave me when I got into university. Both are long gone.

18078 was purchased new in 1980’ish. Was my fathers daily until 1998. Will never leave my side.

Purchased my first Rolex in 1996. Always had one on my wrist since then.

Current next oldest is my 16622 YM. Picked up in 2006. Never selling.

To answer your question…….15-20+ years. I’m not a fan of the flipping from one to another. Each piece in my collection has emotional meaning and significance.

Bought a new DJ through my father's client (made custom jewelry and pulled some strings). Got a Tapestry dial with first service. Wore it every day until I got my Daytona in 2016. The bracelet has a pretty good amount of stretch in it, but otherwise, it's still great. I still own it, but never wear it.

I purchased my two-tone Datejust in 1983 that I wore for over 35 years and now my son wears it. It's a classic ...
