They did a great job on the 5270, kinna like the pilot model too but I agree it's not very Patek.

After studying the controversial Pilot model a bit more, I do like the dial a lot (albeit, its a bit busy for a pilot watch) but the complication is practical. It's those damn pushers on the left side of the case that bug me. They are so big and obtrusive. I wish they would have used flat pushers or toggles or something more streamlined but they decided to go the JLC Compressor route.

Are the sub-dials on the new 5270 smaller than the previous one? It looks more balanced than the "chin" version (maybe still a touch bottom-heavy). The date numbers are all the same size as well...

I love the revised 5270G but still the other issue being ridiculously high price. I guess that keeps out the riff raff like me.

Love the 5270G and R myself, not sure about the 5905P though, but I may be biased since I have the 5960P

I'm not sure why Patek changed the 5905P to only have a 60 minute counter and no hour counter like the 5960.

Also not too sure about the upsize to 42mm.

But what about the customers that bought it with the double chin? I would be pissed!

Should be 75k... but as the other references the will be more depending on demand.

Hopefully the ones that bought it is because they liked the double-chin. I personally do prefer this updated version. Time will tell which ones become desirable down the road.
