Panerai Discounts?

Hello all. I intend to add a Panerai to my watch collection to join my Rolex. I got a nice discount when I purchased my Rolex. I'm wondering what should I expect to get when I try for my Panerai.

I'm looking at the 005($4.7k) or the 111($6.3k). There is a Panerai store close to me, as well as a few boutiques that also sell them. Kind of a far drive to try to hit them all to look for the best price. Should I even try the Panerai store? I've seen other say the Panerai store doesn't offer discounts, maybe just an extra band.

I'm curious especially with the recent price drops if discounts have gotten smaller.

Thanks.

I doubt you will get a discount at a botique, at a AD you should be able to get one

I was offered 20% off my Q serial 512 from an 1st time AD.

Of course, this was in March before the latest price cut. $7800 to $7200. I would suggest to aim for at least 20 points off on top of the low MSRP, that'll be killer.

Boutiques hardly ever do, they'll throw a couple of straps as part of the deal.

This.
Or at least get some straps/buckles thrown in as well.

My AD is stuck with Panerai stock that was purchased at the old wholesale price and with the price reduction they have been put in a pinch on discounting on pre-reduction stock. I would go to the boutique just to try everything on and see the models available. Then I would go to an AD and see what they can do and then contact a Trusted Seller. I was told by a Trusted Seller on the none LE watches to take the price and figure a 20% discount. I would look pre-owned.
