Great dial layout, but not in love with the asphalt dial.

Very beautiful in every way. I love the combination of very useful complications - date, calendar, dual time, etc. What's NOT to love. I think overall, this is absolute winner from Patek. I'm hoping to buy one.

beautiful watch that is understated. I think the most beautiful part of the watch is the backside.

It's beautiful but I would love it to be 40mm.

I love it, unfortunately I think it will pull buyers from the Nautilus/Aquanaut craze and be impossible to get.
I've wanted a 5712 for years, as it's a sports model, but a bit "quirky" with the off balance dial moonphase. I like it's character. I liked the 5524 for it's somewhat sporty look & second time zone, but didn't care for the pusher sizes. This is understated, not too dressy, but appears "rugged" enough to wear casually and not look out of place in almost any setting (I think the dial helps immensely). The addition of the second time zone & AC simply knock it out of the park for me. |

Interesting move into a more casual look, but not so sure about the dial.

So far I am not a big fan of the casual retro design. The watch neither works with a dark suit nor does it perform as the sporty tool watch it looks like (unlike say a 5711/12 which can do it all). Also questioning how timeless this look will be.
That said, the movement is lovely, the TT + AC combination appears useful, and the watch remains thin enough at 11mm (unlike the earlier WT + chrono combination). |

I think it’s really interesting and creative, but I’ve shut my mind off any Rolex and Patek creations, because the AD game (while not impossible to navigate) is not something I have patience for; I dare not imagine the amount of bundling of other brands you’d have to do, with no guarantees. I very much prefer brands that go direct to customers, like AP, VC, or Lange.
I bet Patek have their reasons, but until they adopt the approach of others, they will never be able to provide the same customer experience as other brands that execute themselves. |

Such an amazing watch with the – in my book – most useful complications combined. Would love to get one.

I think it is beautiful. If it was 39 or 40mm, and the date windows were black as well, it would be an absolute homer for me.

I do like the colour but it does remind me of my old school's playground.

Great watch. Looked into yesterday at my AD. They do not expect until fall and thus far demand has been "very high". They only get one per year of most references so...

Technically, this is Pateks best watch in many years.
Superb combination of complications, great dial layout, nice hands, perfect size. Just incredible! However the tarmac textured dial is less than "ideal", and that's putting it nicely. |
