Yeah, those all look good, would be hard to choose between the black and orange dial for me. But I'd even take the blue easily as well. Maybe all three is the correct answer as you said, ha ha.

I don't like redundancy though, I once returned a STO Turtle (unworn) with an absolutely stunning blue dial (and at quite a discount) because I felt guilty already having the black dial Turtle. I seriously wish I did not do that. Oh well.

I wonder if these GMT movements will fit in an SKX case. The modding opportunities have my endorphins swimming.

This is so good! The perfect travel watch to anywhere in the world and best of everything Seiko skx world... I am sure more bezel color options will be soon out.

Hmmm....now maybe I want the orange instead? Tough choice!

I like what they did with the bezel insert and the bracelet looks good.

Agreed, tough choice... Today I'm leaning Orange. I've always wanted a Doxa, and I don't have an Orange watch.

Yep I started with orange until I realized that Two tone grey bezel on the black. So its hardlex glass bezel apparently which is cool.

I believe the orange has a two-tone black/grey bezel insert as well.

They look nice but they don't have a true GMT function. It's really a 24 hour hand added on.

Just like the original Rolex GMT.

Yep, it's a nice combination of affordability and old-school functionality.

Safe for travel, too

These look great and as noted above, a good travel watch.
I looked at a video of the watch on the Seiko USA website and the case also has lug holes. Nice for strap changes if desired.

I've picked up a couple Seiko watches over the past year and they also have lug hole cases. I approve

Just so a Dorklehead like me can understand….

You are not able to independently set the 24-hour hand to a second time zone (?). I.e. This is like the original GMT Master (and original Explorer).

If this is true, I find it kind of a disappointment.

Yeah it is just a 24 hour hand that is coupled to the 12 hour hand. Definitely a bummer. Not sure what it can really be used for.

Never mind, the rotating bezel can track a different time zone. I am back on board this train.

True, but you still have to KNOW how many time zones you are off from your own to set the bezel correctly. With the GMT II for example, and it’s independently-settable hand, this is never a thought.

I am sure it is a great watch, but I am a bit disappointed at this (lack of) feature.

Paul,

If you don't already know the 2nd time zone that you need to adjust how would a quickset 12 hour hand help compared to moving the bezel. Seems like you would need to know both time zones [home time & current location time] to set your watch regardless of the GMT style watch you have.

I don't see why a traveller's GMT vs a desk GMT would be that much harder to track multiple timezones. Is it that much more difficult to read the "local" time on the GMT hand and adjust that accordingly vs the hour hand?

Also, at this price point, did we really expect a traveller's GMT function?
