I love this FPJ model! The titanium must wear so light. It’s so unusual I wonder if you’ve gotten any comments when you’ve worn it.

Ha I wish I owned it... and one day I may. But today was just trying it on at the boutique. *sigh*

Blue dial in watch world is like blue jeans or Khaki pants it will never go out of style and always the safest to majority. The recent steel Lange fail not because of the blue dial but the overall look as a high end steel watch... their design department is never their strongest (look at grand Lange 1 or some early Saxonia) sorry if I offend anyone.

For the blue dial is classic - my 1st Patek was the blue ellipse and I still consider the blue gold dial timeless elegance

While I LOVE blue dials as much as the next guy, I have to say, nothing has mesmerized me as much when the sun hits my 60th anni olive green dial, especially against the RG.

Both. One of my dealers might pick up AP. So I’m trying to see if the openworks is accessible.

Indeed it is, and these days it's beating out my Pateks for wrist time! Great watch especially for the price paid.

Great watch.

Grand Seiko dials are I daresay in certain respects, the best in the world.

I think that deep blue dial on the Ellipse is among the best ever blue's from Patek. Wish they'd offer that same color dial on some Calatrava time-only models, especially on white gold as well as yellow. As the saying goes, they sure don't make 'em like that anymore...

Except when they have road shows and show u a card board box to represent the movement and steel to represent platinum....

That was such a turnoff this past year at the NYC boutique.... we had a private showing the day before I was so disappointed in the marketing.
