Any love for IWC Aquatimers?
Just snag 2 of them recently. Love the dual crown (compressor styled)
IWC Ref 3548 Steel Diver 1000m IWC Ref 3538 Titanium Diver 2000m (Used to have a rubber version but sold and end up with a bracelet variant) dual crown rocks |

Looks nice!
Although I heard lot's of issues with the Aquatimer relating to waterproof and leakage. Can you relate? I like the one on rubber! Also these look better than the newer ones. Btw also bought at that pawn shop? |

Very timely post - I just purchased a 3548 (also on rubber) and should get it tomorrow. Was really an implulse buy but I’m looking forward to trying it out!

always considered one, especially seems like the 3548 are reasonably priced and something different from like a Black Bay.
I'd really have to see it in person it it would fit my wrist though. |

I have always like this watch but have never gotten around to getting one. The price would be the deciding factor for me. A nice pre-owned one at 45-50% off retail would work for me. At full retail, not so much.

I've got a 3548 and also an older 3536...both in Ti.
>Love the dual crown (compressor styled) Technically incorrect as the 3538 and 3548 are not compressor divers. |

I've had a 3719 since ~2010 (my first nice watch out of college). It doesn't get enough wrist time anymore.

Great looking watches. I have always admired the IWC line-up and have an IWC Petite Prince Chronograph and am looking at another. We will see.

These are the few things i like about it (reasons that made me bought it) 1) Price - it's super attractive after discount. For a fully in house made watch with JLC caliber, you can't complain 2) Overall design - paying homage to the polaris, it is without the alarm (i already have 1, so i decided to skip the LE 3 crown Polaris Alarm and went straight for the 2 crown Polaris Date). The 3 step dial is beautiful, so is the applied 12, 6, 9 Numerals (JLC styled) 3) Box Crystal - It's just beautiful. Box shaped top hat sapphire crystal 4) Great solid rubber strap - feels thick, luxurious and tool-ish at the same time. 1 complain, i prefer the clasp to have a a release button because it's a pain in the ass to remove it. and it sits alittle away from the centre of the wrist. but i still love it! |

Yes, the discount I suppose I should get around 20%. Also I like this one better than the one with the alarm! Tried that one on and its to thick for me and it doesnt feel as good on the wrist as the one you have. The box crystal looks indeed very nice! Yeah the strap looks nice, stupid of me when I tried it on I cant remember how the clasp looks like! Let us know how it wears over time! Thanks for the update so far! Enjoy wearing all 3! |
