IWC Mark XII tritium disaster
Hello. Wound the watch then went to set the time and the tritium in the minute hand just fell out. Any advice on how to minimize the damage and safely get the watch to a service center? Thank you.

1. Don’t move the hand. 2. Get the watch to IWC service ASAP.

What do you want to do? Service with Luminova or repaint with matching tritium? IWC will replace with luminova but some place like hq milton can repaint the hand to match the patina.
