Cyclops question

I looked at my first Panerai in Chicago last week. I can say that I was not impressed with the cyclops on the Power Reserve model. It looked distorted, like a funhouse mirror. Are they all like this? Could it be a defective cyclops? Those of you with a bubble date on your PAM, please post a semi-macro pic to save me from never buying a Panerai!

Thanks!

Most PAMs dont have a cyclops. So,that shouldnt even be a consideration, when considering to join the Panerai world. There are so many nice PAMs without a cyclops, its scary !!
