A pictorial shrine to the PAM 289

I would like to share the following pics with you.The first three are my own.The rest of the pics I got from various sources, all over the net. Thanks to the enthusiasts that took these pics.I stored these mainly as reference, for the time when I was deciding on the 289 purchase.I simply love this watch. It is by far the nicest watch I have ever owned.

Hope you enjoy the tour

Because gold is gold and steel is steel. I love gold ~ WG/YG/RG.Not all golds are equal, even if its all 18ct.Take for instance WG~ Difference in appearance between the Palladium whites and the Nickel whites. Now,when it comes to rosegold, the 18ct RG mix Panerai uses is the nicest RG I have ever seen.No pink tint, just a gorgeous deep, deep golden colour. Both in polished, like on the 231 and brushed/polished like on the 289,its a visual tour de force

A great watch in SS but a work of art in gold. Congrats on owning this. Bet it wears heavy though.

Oh yes,its got some presence factor on the wrist, but still a very balanced feel to it due to the 1950s casing shape.
