Pam 311

Hi guys, got a bit of good news today, one of my dealers hooked me up with a new 311. Looks great in photos, will have to wait and see if its a keeper, i usually prefer stainless steel, but this is a titanium model. They seem to be a hot new model, so it was hard to pass it up.

You will like the Titanium case. I have found the titanium cases to wear more comfortable on the wrist.

I'm lusting after this one too. I think one PAM is enough for me so may flip my 233 toward it. Basically a updated p2002 movement with autowind and a monopulse chrono. Great utility.

May I ask the price you were quoted? Also unsure of what's available. Are there just two types? Ti w/brown dial and the the PVD black case with the black dial?

Wrong watch.

This is a 311. Note the shark's tooth power reserve indicator, the monopulsante chrono function -- one button (at seven o'clock) starts stops and resets the chrono. Second TZ display ala the p2003 vs the "sun" indicator on the p2002-based 233.

Really like the 311. Very balanced looking dial. Not many dual chronos and GMTs out there. That is definately a "tool" watch!

It was in expectation of a Panny watch like this that led me to flip my SS Daytona. Don't need too many chronos.

Agree with you. It's nearly ideal functionality, beautiful, in-house movement, chocolate brown so a little bit off the beaten panny path. I'm going to buy one if I get lucky enough. As much as I love the 233, I'll probably use it to offset the expense.

NO!!! Don't sell the 233! LOL

The 233 is my daily wear watch these days, and has been the alst several month. Have a 22mm Olive Drab Green Zulu on it today, and you can not believe how comfortable and good looking it is. Matter of fact went for a 40 minute lap swim with the 233 today!

I'd love to be able to keep it. Of course, I probably will based on the demand for the 311 making it a crap shoot at best. IF I DO get lucky on the 311, I'll need the $$; plus I learned that when I'm in the mood to wear a Panny I grab the new one.
