I choose a watch for its style, functionality and comfort - a little bit for its exclusivity as well and the freedom it gives me in regards on how to wear it, some watched look good only on a bracelet this one is equally at home with anything on

As much as I love the bracelet a Panerai truly stands out on a great looking strap. The watches I buy are not to be flipped they are to be kept and I buy them for me - not for other people, I really like this watch more and more everyday

nice to have that option; rolex prevents you from moving from strap to bracelet on most of their watches...

Yes, there is a white dial version, the 251.

That's one thing I enjoy so much with Panerai. Throw any strap on it, and it looks great!

I know very little about other watches, but i muxt confess, i do like the look of the pan there. Classic watch, and i think it would look good on a nato band, i know many dont like them but i like the way they emphasize the ruggedness of a watch.

I am in two minds weather to strap my GMT II c to a nato or not.

There is no doubt that the strap options are one significant aspect of Panerai ownership, especially when there are so many people out there making wonderfully unique straps.

I really like the thickness of some aftermarket straps, being 5 mm thick it does give the watch a more rugged character than a thinner strap such as the nato or the in house Panerai dress straps.

Here is my Greg Stevens Militare and you can see the thickness I'm referring to, it just gives the watch a much more tool-watch like character to complete the package.
