Help us find out the history of Omega watches

Hello there!
During WWII, my grandfather served in Europe and brought back an Omega watch. Now I keep this watch and I am interested to know its history. But I couldn't find any analogues either in appearance or in the mechanism. The mechanism is similar to the caliber 1187 or 1190 A. Schild. I found out that such mechanisms under the name "ebauche from Schild" were supplied to other brands, but I did not find information about Omega. I need help.
