OK, I definitely can't contribute to this thread whatsoever and the style definitely isn't to my liking. But if this is a vintage watch or a relatively old watch then that's super impressive how it has held up over the years.

Gruen Stopped making watches in the late 1950s! They used to be one of the biggest watchmaking companies in America. There watches are very high quality and have a reputation for holding up super well. My mom actually has to of these that she inherited from her mother and I have a gruen that is from the World War 2 era that still keeps perfect time, although the power reserve is only 24 hours manual wind.

The Gruen name got bought out and they are still making them.
I think this style was popular in the 80's, most likely early 80's. |

That's defintely 80s.
Well, on the second thought, nugget jewelry hasn't quite disappeared from the fashion landscape. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...nugget+jewelry https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...nugget+watches This Elgin is said to date from the 70s. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Elgin-Watch...gAAOSwurZZNPhi
