Wow

I’ve been waiting awhile to see one of these in person... pictures don’t do it justice at all!

I like the play of the darker meteorite with the rose gold. Very nice, indeed!

Congrats, she looks really badarse in all the right ways!

Note To Self: Don't show to wife, she'll want me to get one.

I'm contemplating it...I'm on a business trip and wasn't planning on dropping 16k...but I've also never seen one in a store or IRL for that matter.

It's at a boutique, so I doubt I'd get a discount (my AD back home I usually get 20-25% off)...but it's nice knowing it's real. That might possibly be worth the extra.

That said, there's one on chrono 24 for 10k and change, plus no tax...decisions decisions.

Having it on the wrist solidified the decision to get one, just not sure what route I"ll take yet.

I haven't seen one IRL. Looks kind of messy and not very legible in these pictures.

I like it at 10k, not full retail. We all know the reality of pre-owned prices for Omega.

It’s a nice watch, but personally I think the dial is a bit busy.

I prefer the original meteorite Speedy from 2010.

A little more subtle

Cheers

I almost pulled the trigger myself but you can get it on the secondary market for about $10k. Also I’m waiting to see what happens with the 50th anniversary snoopy.

If I understand correctly this is not an incoming thread, so I can say I don't really like it. Too much going on IMO. Too big, meteorite dial, two tone, not interesting at all. But if you like OP that's all that matters.

That's the beauty of watch collecting - we don't have to like the same things.

While at the time it wasn't an incoming thread, I did wind up getting it.

The meteorite is actually pretty subdued most of the time (and quite mesmerizing to look at); I have to try extremely hard to get all the striations to show in the pictures.

As far as big, while it is big 9-3, it's only 50mm lug to lug. A GMT with end links runs 51mm, so it's extremely wearable, although the photo close up distortion does look off.

I do like it, it's a keeper!

If you bought it I hope it brings you a lot of joy. Congrats.
