Thanks all, on the way home from my fiancée’s fathers yesterday evening, Sheila admitted that she prefers this watch to the SMP 2531.80.00 I have.

That is an excellent selection.
I have only 1 Omega being the GMT Seamaster. It's a beauty, I love it in many ways but the sword hands are incredible. I think that if I was to buy another Omega, and I might, that this would in all liklihood be at the top of my list. Congrats The date feature at 6 O'Clock is very practical and no so often found on a chronograph. It's got a COSC movement and those red hands on the sub-dial and tip of the second hand are great
