OP 39 White

One of the most comfortable watches I have worn. Great weight and size.
The white is not white like you would think. Different, classy.
Supper accurate.
Stunning to look at.
The simplicity is wonderful.
This will be a keeper.

my only gripe is the hands and surrounds. black would have been very cool instead of white gold.

I’ve a 34 mm air king.... I keep coming back to it, staring. My wife wears it, so it’s sized smaller for wrist. It’s 1973... elegant, simple. Legible. I kept asking myself “why can’t Rolex make a 39 or 40 mm air king... “ the answer is the 39mm oyster perpetual. I know a wealthy guy , mlb player, that wears a silver OP.... he owns a patek perpetual calendar also (“a major pain in the ass to bother with,” he’s said.) . In any case, he has the humility and taste to wear the Rolex pretty much 7 days a week. It’s funny a guy like that, that plays Pro baseball no less, wears a 39mm oyster perpetual year round. He’s a second baseman for a team. My point being this piece, the OP 39mm , surpasses most other Pateks, rolexes, and others at 1/8 the price. I’m unsure why the oyster perpetual isn’t more popular but am glad it’s not. I’ve ordered a silver dial pre owned and bet it’s worn more than my patek, sub, reverso, gmt, or Vacheron. Funny stuff.
