Incoming Sedna FOIS
New addition to the collection to be picked up in a couple of weeks (not my pic). What are your thoughts on this model as it doesn't seem to get talked about much?
For me it's something a little different and the panda dial has a Newman Daytona vibe about it. It's a new watch but I picked up at 7500GBP against a UK retail of 12000GBP which seems good value. |

LOVE that! A hand-wound Speedmaster in a gold case with a panda dial? Yes, please, all day long!
What a great choice. I'm happy for you. |

I think it’s fabulous.
Just please don’t ruin it by associating it with a Rolex. This beauty stands just fine on its own.

Congratulations on a great score!
This watch ticks all the boxes for me. Dressy, sporty, the rose gold and brown strap give it a little bit of flash with a lot of warmth, great tried and true movement, et cetera. I can't remember if it has a plastic or sapphire crystal, but whatever, it's a winner. I tried one on at the OB a while ago. Absolutely lovely. Enjoy! -GW |

I have been thinking about one since it came out. The omega boutique in Boca Raton never has one in stock. Please post your feedback as there is not much posted on it.

I drool over this every time I see it in the window. It's a beautiful piece. When I buy a watch I do so with the intention of keeping it for the rest of my life and this one certainly falls in that category.

Well, I am glad to see someone else on the forums is joining me in a tribute to this outstanding watch. I have had mine about a year now. And I think it is one of the most outstanding gold models that Omega has ever done. I saw it first when it came out a few years ago, and finally acquired it last year.
I was just about to start a thread about this particular watch, when I noticed your thread. And I intend to do so after I congratulate you. Funny thing, just today someone mentioned the Newman Daytona vibe as well! Huge congratulations. As it took me a while to learn, it is a very versatile watch. I am just wearing it with everything and anything. From old bomber jacket to dressier clothing. At first, I made the mistake of reserving it for more dressy occasions, and now that I am wearing it more often I am really discovering the true pleasure in it. I believe it is a rare piece indeed. Not a Limited Edition, but a Special Edition. Anyway, I hope you get tons of enjoyment out of your's! Almost forgot to mention that, yes, you got an amazing deal on that watch. Very happy for you! Cheers, Carl

Safely collected.. along with an Explorer II the AD had just made available :)
The Sedna FOIS wears lovely.. surprisingly heavy for the 39mm size. Really pleased with them both! |
