Daytona 116500LN Crown

I've noticed on my Daytona that when in the tightened position the coronet on the crown is completely vertical yet on my 116520 it is not. Is this just coincidence or intentional on this model?

The crown and tube are threaded with random start points for the threads. They are not meant to or supposed to line the crown up in a particular position.

You got lucky... Less than 0.3% are aligned within a degree.

Well it sort of is. I left a clue in there as to why I say that

Assuming final angle of alignment is a uniformly distributed random variable the probability of a crown falling within +\- 0.5 degrees (where a person might call it perfect) is 1/360 = 0.2777777%

I thought that was the case other than on precious metal where it is aligned perfectly.
