Like the matte strap on that watch better. Beautiful piece, especially in red gold.

Now that I think of it, maybe. Wouldn't that be something cool to be able to tell people. Only if I could prove it.

Gerald Genta supposedly designed a Cellini. I don't know which one. And recent Cellinis are thick. I used to think they were Rolex's thin line.

Great watches. I am a fan of the Cellini line, but as others have pointed out the competitors in that price range are also intriguing. I love the DJ as well, I'd be interested to see the families collection! Thanks for sharing!

Here you go:

The 1st & 2nd are mine, 3rd is my brother's, 4th and 5th are my dad's

If you're interested in better quality photos of one of the watches let me know. My Brother's DJ is absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful addition...You are correct, the Cellini line seems to rarely get discussed here on the forum. I get that they are a dressier watch than most other references in the lineup but still gorgeous. Congrats on the new piece sir.

Beautiful watch! But your 22 and in finance, skip anything else for now and invest in stocks and real estate then in ten years buy a platona.

Congratulations – two beautiful watches.

Do you think the Cellini is less popular because it doesn’t look like a Rolex? ( to my eye it is completely different than any of the current line up)

I like your variant the best – the only thing I’m not sure about is the Cellini font.

I believe so. Everyone adores rolex's metal bracelets to the point where you can tell someone has a Rolex on just by looking at the bracelet. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, but with the Cellini, I know that most folks out there wouldn't be able to identify that I am wearing a Rolex on my wrist. And to those that can and give me a compliment, I would be super impressed.

The font for Cellini is the most feminine aspect of the watch and probably of rolex's entire current collection. This can throw a lot of people off.

Pictures don't do this watch justice. It's hard to capture the dial details of the minute markers that run into the center of the dial.

Rolex is iconic for its metal bracelets. From far away many can tell someone is wearing a Rolex just by looking at the bracelet. the Cellini doesn't scream Rolex to strangers. It's what I like best about it; it takes a real lover of Rolex to know that I am wearing a Cellini.

I also believe my color way is the best and most versatile. The silver face is beautiful as well, but it makes the watch even more formal and classy. Pictures don't do the watch justice. It's very hard to capture the minute markers that run to the center of the dial.

The Cellini font is probably the most feminine aspect of any current Rolex watch produced. I don't mind it, I think it fits well with the watch and the name: Cellini.
