I’ve had that duo combo ... they complement each other well
speaking of the blue TT Sub and BLNR that is...

Absolutely! I own the blue, but if a one and only I would go black as it is a little more muted and versatile IMO.

For decades the standard Rolex was a TT DJ; they were worn usually as an only watch. There's absolutely no real reason why a TT can't do the job!!! I've got one which is an older model; it could easily be an only.

I say this with all due respect.....but why don’t you go slam your hand in the car door? Your Father has made a fine decision about a fine watch, then you’re here questioning his taste? He’s the Father, you’re the Son or Daughter. Try to remember that. Oh, and say, ‘great choice Dad, looks great on you!’.

Now, are you right handed, or left?:-)

Lol wow... take it easy.

The guy just wants to make sure his father is making the right choice. He’s asking the question in respect of his father it looks like. Maybe his dad doesn’t know as much about watches, maybe his dad asked him to bring this question up to the forum.

“Slam your hand in the car door”

You’re a nut... there’s no place for comments like that on this forum.

Can't go wrong with a TT Sub, black for a dressier, more understated look, blue for that pop factor so many of us love the watch for! Excellent choice either way

100%

Great choice, can't go wrong with black or blue in this case.

I was LOL, and am taking it easy. I guess my smiley face at the end didn’t convey the attempted humor. My point was, maybe show a bit more respect for a grown mans desires? Especially one taking the plunge into the wonderful world of our common ground here, appreciating Rolex’s.

I apologize for any offense the OP took from my comments. Now......a ‘nut’ huh?:-) seems harsh😆
