Basel offerings, how long before available

How long does it usually take between Basel and the watches showing up in stores in the U.K. and U.S.

what are your thoughts with regard to the Tudor GMT and timing? Apparently that one is hitting AD's in June. My take is that puts the Rolex GMT in May as Tudor cant really make it to market first. Fair statement, or doesn't Rolex care?

No idea as never have been a Tudor guy. All I can say is 2 years ago I had Daytona on my wrist first week of June and last years the SD43 end of May. So my guess is will be the same this year. I hope to have BLRO on wrist by early June!

The SD43 hit UK last year 1st May. I got mine end of June in the second batch. Hoping to get either the GMT or the new Deepsea this year some time.

Given the current pace and apparent throttling of production, probably 3-5 years.

I could be wrong, but I believe boutiques get them first, then other ADs follow.

I’m hoping end of May, but who knows

makes sense to throw those mono brand ADs a bone... at least multi brand AD's have other stuff to sell

I think June/July for the Datejust, sport model I think something like August. But it will goes to the AD most spender customer anyway.

depends on the model. ss skyd was not in AD until late summer.

i remember the sd43 hit the UK earlier than the US as well last year.

why would rolex care?

people wanting the pepsi GMT from rolex won't settle for tudor. they may actually buy both.

i don't know if they do. Just that there was obviously coordination with the two watches as they are very similar. Secondly the Rolex is the premier product and i would assume they would want it to be available first. Companies with sub brands often release the flagship product first and then make the lower priced/alternative/similar options available at a later date.
