As much as I like that watch, screw it. Eat it. Rather buy something else. Never over MSRP for an item where there are so many to choose from.

That’s pretty crazy. I can’t imagine that they will command much of a premium long term.

We are always early with high prices, but unless Rolex supply this well and they won't with a new Basel, then it's just a matter of time before it hits you guys. Don't think DAVIDSW et all aren't watching us like hawks for price indicators.

It will be hot a year and then mellow out. This is one I will wait around on a few years and buy pre-owned.

thats not what i mean. i mean it wont last more than 1 year. i should have been more specific.

case in point the tt sky dwellers are selling at msrp or below now.

I think you're being optimistic as the SkyD TT was not received half as well as this, and the WG OF was more similar in reception and the price is still over retail even now and that's PM.

you may be right. im more skeptical. the tt sub lb is always in the cases near me. that is probably the best received tt rolex ever.

that said people want what is new. i am simply saying i would be shocked if this is the tt that bucks the trend.

As you know the market is crazy right now and the TT GMTc has been really well received, and it's brown! If the Bluesy was being released now it would be even hotter, that's true.

2 weeks delivery time? glad to see some in hand pictures soon.
but no way i will buy a TT with a premium. if it sells at 14000 pounds
i would rather buy the full gold blue sub.

...except for the fact that many on this forum have said that the TT CHNR is the first TT Rolex model that they've ever considered. In 15 years of brand ownership I can't say I've read or heard that same sentiment about other TT models. Having RG, black and brown on the GMT platform really seems to be a winner. I hate TT watches but the CHNR has my attention.

It'll be interesting to see how well the CHNR models do long-term.

CHNR also showed up on Chrono24; asking $21240 plus $1249 shipping to the US. Availability shows as on request. That over $2500 higher than the prior pricing.:

It begs the question of how rare the CHNR models become. The bi-color bezels could mean smaller production numbers. Or, Rolex will put more of them on shelves because gold means higher profit.

Anyone got a bag of popcorn?

RG+SS is entirely different than YG+SS. So i am one who would consider the CHNR but no other TT model that contains YG.

Indeed. The RG+SS combo with a black dial really seems to work. There's just enough brown to go with a pair of brown oxfords but remains sporty enough to be worn casually. At least that's what I'm hoping.

I tried on a YG+SS GMT II a couple weeks ago and it wore me rather than me wearing it. I then tried an RG+SS YM and the RG really toned it down. The RG bezel was what killed that option.

First Grey Price up on CHNR

What’s interesting is he is now showing 3-day delivery time; delivery on 4/18. Perhaps he has it in stock. The markup is something.... I’m not a buyer until the craziness abates. Thanks for sharing.

I do not buy above retail, so I am going to wait but I tell when people seat seeing this model it will explode, the prices will jump

I need to buy one now but do not have the 20k readily available if not I would pull the trigger
