Thank you. Can you simply describe the scratch situation? Is it severe if I wear daily?

If I may. Get the 5712a and if you want rose gold get it on a leather strap. I think a 5130r or 5230r worldtime is a fantastic choice for the nice elegance of rose gold without too much bling. You don't need 2 sports watches.

At this age, I just want to get sports watch. Maybe when I get older, I will get leather strap watch, but not now.

Thanks, very helpful. Although I wish people would stop mentioning the 5164...it's taken me months to settle on a 5712 and yet the constant love on this forum for the 5164 is making me question myself...again!!

the bezel and the bracelet of the 5711R scratch easily. is it serious? depends on whether you can live with scratches our not. i basically can, still i am not going to take the watch on long flights again. also, as i said before, it gets into frequent intimate contact with my macbook:::)))

unless you are going to flip the WG Daytona on OF, the 5712 is the way to go. Im a huge 64 fan too, but those two would be great together.

Thanks. No intention of flipping the WG OF so the 5712 makes the most sense. Just can't help but want the 5164 and it's got to be the perfect holiday watch.

A fellow forum member has offered to help me out so going to give him a buzz later and see if I can get an order placed so that I can stop deviating every day!!

The 5711r is my favorite Nautilus. It is absolutely incredible in the flesh.

My choice for you is the 5711 1R. You will love it as there is nothing else like Patek RG!!

I love the WG OF but feel the 5164 has a similar set up so I don't really need it, so in your case I'd get the 5712 first... unless a 64 opens up first ofc!

If you already have a 5712a, I would go for the 5164r since they are totally different. I love the 5711R and the 5164a so I understand how difficult this is.

Yes. It is really hard to choose. I am just afraid it will scratch so severe if I wear it as a daily watch.
