Another 5167 or 5164/steel or rose

I really love both pieces... seems silly to get both but which is best, live in nyc so I’m able to go to 47th street and see almost anything...

5167r today... a real stunner... is it work with 35k?

I think the 67a would be a perfect daily watch, but also love the 64a... again worth the premium... don’t need travel time but love the symmetry of the dial

So torn..

64a

The aquanaut is a perfect daily so it makes more sense to choose the metal also best suited for daily use.

Personally, I've always found the 5164's appearance and operation to be overly complicated for the functions it offers (essentially the same as a Rolex GMT, which operates from a single crown).

For that reason, I'd go with the 5167 in either steel or gold.

Price difference aside, if I wanted additional complications, but liked the symmetrical style of the 5164, I'd be looking at the 5726.

i thought that was why they included the easy button (two of them), so you didn't have to fiddle with a crown.

Haha. Buttons aside, I prefer to have a watch's functions displayed as simply as possible, such as a regular date wheel, and a 24hr hand/markings instead of needing the AM/PM indicator.

But that's just personal preference; from a daily wear standpoint. From a "look what we can do and still fit into this tiny, enclosed space" perspective it is absolutely a mechanical work of art .

i get that. I love my GMT too but as much as i try, my brain does not work in 24 hour time. So im always doing math to convert anything past 12:00 into a 12 hour time.

In general i prefer dual time to GMT for the simple fact that i hate math

And I get that. Agree completely, that it's a bit annoying (having to do math without a pen and paper). The jumping hour hand is the part I love, because it makes jumping one or two timezones (where I automatically know that home is an hour or two in either direction) easier.
