all is pretty much covered above, but yeah... kind of hard to get if you want one immediately. However, I think almost any dealer would take your money to buy one (unlike a daytona or Sky D). It might take a few months, could take a few days though too, you never know.

For what it is worth...went to the same AD where we bought my wife’s two tone DJ with black dial / diamond markers. I gave him my list of watches last Friday and as luck would have it, he emailed me on Monday and, voila, I now own my first watch ever. I paid exactly $11,350 plus local sales tax. And, apparently I got the large box (plus he gave me the clear plastic shipping cartridge and bezel protector the watch arrived in).

I got one no wait at an AD I've never been to, over the phone. Just had to send a wire payment.

The first AD i visited (with some purchase history) told me 1-2 yrs, I walked into mall AD and asked about availability of the SD43.

If I paid in full upfront, I would get one of the next arrivals in an estimated time of 1 month.

I considered it for another week, went back to do the deal and they said 2-3 months, but likely sooner. Paid MSRP + tax and the wait began

I stopped by a week later to build some rapport since I was at the mall, mentioned I was going on vacation in 2 weeks.

10 days later I got the call it arrived and the salesperson said they wanted me to have it for my upcoming trip, and had a client who wasn't able to pick up their order and would get the next one.

Money talks and some persistence goes along way.

This piece is the bomb and very happy I didn't settle for a Sub or YM
