Up for sale is a fantastic watch that has been getting a lot of press lately and is becoming harder to find as it is likely sold out at many dealers.

This is the limited edition Grand Seiko "Peacock" Hi Beat GMT. The model number is SBGJ227 and it features the hi-beat 36000 mechanical movement with a butter smooth sweeping second hand. This watch was limited to 750 pieces and has become very desirable due to the mesmerizing dial - a beautiful green color that transforms to a blueish hue depending on the light (hence the nickname peacock) (see the picture taken in sunlight to see the beauty and detail of the dial). The finishing on the watch is phenomenal - the best i've ever seen in my years of collecting high end time pieces. The polished surfaces certainly are mirror-like and the edges are razor sharp.

I purchased the watch less than 3 weeks ago from an authorized dealer and wore it a few times carefully to the office. It is in mint condition with only a few minor marks on 2 of the bracelet links and a faint line or two on some of the polished surfaces. There is still plastic on some parts of the bracelet clasp. Overall I'd conservatively rate it TZ 98%.

Comes as a complete set with all links (2.5 are currently removed), white sleeve, outer box, presentation box, hang tags, manuals, stamped warranty card and inspection certificate wallet.
