No wrist watch worn for extended times?

Any one else have a situation that results in not wearing your watch for an extended time?

Even though I haven't worn a watch for a year. I still look at my wrist for the time and to look at my pretty Rolex. Now I open the safe to visit my watch.

Why would you have a pretty Rolex and not wear it?

Different watches for different occasions.

If I go hiking or do something where I know my hands are going to get bloody and take a beating, I'm not wearing a Rolex.

Makes me just as happy to see a G shock covered in dirt as a shiny Rolex.

I am curious as to why you haven't worn a watch in a year.

I guess a lot depends on how long your sentence is and if you get probation.

I always look forward to probation.

Got ill and lost about 100lbs. So it doesn't fit at all. Watch slides from wrist to almost the elbow. But doing much better and now able to walk and gaining weight.

Okay, some of you guys have fantastic senses of humor.

Went camping... Waiting for probation... Skylab... Thank you for for the belly laughs!
