Used and Pre-Owned Rolex Watches

Hi, Christie's has this really cool Domino's Rolex coming up for auction. it has the logo right on the dial.

Does anyone like these "pizza" watches? Yahoo did an article on the watch yesterday and it caught my attention. Did anyone see the article?

much obliged.

I’m not really a fan of other logos/branding on a watch. But I know some people specific like to collect these. So it just depends on your personal preference!

Thought the dominos watches typically sold at a discount on the used market. Most were air kings if I recall.

This is the only branded watch I like. The 16018 Chevy Datejust. I wouldn’t buy one but it must’ve been a cool gift for Chevy executives.

Have you ever eaten a Dominos Pizza? If you have I'm sure you wouldn't want to advertise for them.

The only branded Rolex I would own are one with Tiffany and Company on it and then Apollo 13 Astronaut Jim Lovell has the Annapolis crest on the dial of his GMT. Domino's on one is only slightly classier than Wal-Mart IMHO.

Here's a thread with some more information about the history of the Domino's watches:

Welcome to the forum. It’s a novelty piece, so know if you buy it, it will be quite difficult to resell it.

Little off topic, but it's a question regarding used/pre-owned Rolex.

There is a police auction tomorrow (stolen items not claimed)
Will there be issues if I buy a Rolex from the police auction ?
Technically the Rolex was stolen, probably reported.
If I sent in for service, will Rolex keep it.
But I will have a receipt from the police auction.
Or just avoid the headaches and not buy ?

The ONLY co-branding I'd be interested in having is Comex on a Sub or SD4k.
