Hi great watches everyone! I'm interested in buying the datejust/daydate in the future but I'm wondering, is the fluted bezel scratch resistant?

I also noticed that on some of the older models that the fluted bezel is less "sharp" (sorry if I'm using the wrong term here) than the new models. Is this because of heavy use or just because thats how they were made back then?

Thank you and sorry for the long questions

Your right 39mm would be great. The DD 40mm is now out there. But, a tad too big.

Personally I'd go blue because I'm a blue-freak but that white is so nice and crisp. I had not seen that dial option before. Good luck with the decision. There really is no wrong answer to your question.

I think the white goes better with everything. The Blue is strong and if you have other watches in the collection that would be it.

Uploaded on today's date. Bought this watch exactly one year ago on April 2017 and been wearing it every day. Scratches are coming

By the way does anybody know where to buy those original plastic stickers that usually on new Rolex watches? Would love to stick it on my side bezel since it scratches quite easy

Me and my brother from another mother just before heading to the casino and winning around $11k that night. We got lucky!! LOL

Two of the best dials for the DD40 in my eyes.

Out of curiosity, do you mind telling us what you do for a living that can pull that off everyday? Very boss.

I want a YG DD in the worst way, thought about trading my DSSD, GMT2C, my Panerai, and prob some cash to get a preowned one, I had this one on a few years back, 36mm, really want the DDII but the cost would not allow that, so I guess I need to find a 36mm DD at some point, don't want to trade anything but would have too. I like the larger size of the DDII but the DD I had on did not feel small, maybe it was the weight.

From past experience man let me tell you save for what you really want. I've lost $1000s flipping watches that I really shouldn't have bought - my heart was not there.

Yea that is what I should do, save and buy a DDII, even preowned, it will take a good long while tho.
