if you check hodinkee, they've already covered the watch. I bet they probably had a chance prior to today's announcements to snap shots and do a writeup.

I really really like the watch, I like the black one also I just still wish it was in 904L, if it was I'd already have a black one...

I like the blue but would want it on a black rubber strap rather than the blue :-p

Your AD can easily sell/source you straps for Tudor. I am sure they can supply you with a black rubber at a decent price. When I had a black bay they quoted something like $100 for the leather strap, and $400 for the clasp when my watch originally came on bracelet only.

Great thanks for the heads up, I had thought they wouldn't just release it on strap but was getting worried when all I could find on the Tudor site was it on the rubber strap.

You are very lucky. I have had nothing but problems with mine and it's only seven months old.

Anyone else notice they removed the partial hash mark at the three o'clock position? It sort of balanced the dial for me. That said, many prefer the 15300 AP to 15400, so maybe others disagree.

Regardless I want one!!! Can't wait this will be a great summer watch.

I spotted that - they've pushed the date further to the edge of the dial. I rather liked it, and it was a bit of extra lume on the dial (always a good thing in my book)

I have no problem with the text 2 lines, 5 lines, whatever, but the shade of blue looks too bright in the pics at least. You gotta give it to Tudor though, the Pelagos is a tool watch if I ever saw one. It looks brutal. Seeing one out of water would almost look odd, and wearing it with a suit even worse.

Will the case be as thick as the current ETA Pelagos?

I think Hodinkee had it at $4,400 if no one else posted that yet. I'm a fan of this piece as well.

It's not the first time Rolex/Tudor has put that much text on the dial. Didn't bother me on the DRSD; doesn't bother me on the new Pelagos.

I think Tudor did a good job with "The Tick"

IMO, it's their best release this year.

Agree 1000%.

Everybody wanted a SS version of the Smurf and Rolex was not going to do that. So they give it to us in Tudor trim. And I know it's not SS, but is is affordable to the WIS masses.

With the rubber strap, I think the watch is supremely sporty. A great weekend watch, for sure.

Completely agree. Doesn't bother me on the Double Red, D Blue or Pelagos.

I love how in these shots the blue looks a little muted than some others where it seems quite vibrant. Gorgeous watch, can't wait till its available. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Now I know we shouldn't take this as fact because the source is an AD sales rep, but, the other day I was told in my local AD that it will be November/December before they have it
