My collection is the following:
116710BLNR - My GMT
116500 white - My chronograph
126600 (I’m still on the hunt for this one.) - My diver

The boss thinks more than 3 at a time is excessive.

36mm YG DD
SS Daytona
SS Sub

Think that would cover all the bases.

116500 white dial, 16610LV, 16710 Pepsi/Coke (2 inserts but one watch). Well under 50k but I could easily stop there for the sake of this question.

I find it quite odd how many people put Lange in this thread, which means they’re obviously big fans of their designs, yet it seems nobody actually owns one. Weird...

$50,000 USD with current exchange rate is £35,800 GBP.

I believe I'd just about get a 116520, 16610LV,126600 and a 16710.

Sorry RW, but I'll break the rules a bit here as you made no mention of GS.

Rolex Submariner Date - £6k
Grand Seiko Snowflake - £6K
Patek Philippe Annual Calendar (White Gold) - £35K

That would be my 3 choices for £55K!

Rolex Milgauss Z-Blue 116400GV - $6.5k

I am one of the people who did this. It's because they offer good value for money in decoration in particular in the manual chronographs.

If you don't care about money suddenly like you don't have an arbitrary $50k limit, then the design comes more into play (for me).

Only brands you can choose from: Rolex, AP, PP, Lange, JLC, Breguet, Omega.

What would you do?
Easy:
1. Rose Gold Daytona with oysterflex ($23k pre owned)
2. AP 15400 blue dial ($17,800 new)
3. Hulk ($9-10K)

Alternatively:
1. SS Daytona C $12,400 sans mark up
2. AP 15202 blue dial $22,700 sans mark up
3. Hulk
- with approx. $5k to spare or to use towards 1 and 2 (assuming you pay a bit of a premium)

This is actually harder than I would've thought. Especially since I'm not a giant Patek, AP, Lange or Breguet fan. But, here goes:

116610LV = ~$9k
JLC Tribute to Deep Sea Alarm = ~$10k
Lange 1 Blue face (38.5mm) = ~$30k (after a modest discount)

Secondary prices, I’d buy AP 15400. Daytona c white. Try to squeeze in a sub or a DJ

Where on earth can you get a 5711 for $24K? I'm assuming that's a used white dial?

but see the thread title is '$50k for a 3 watch collection', not '$50k to add to your own collection'. That's the reason I find it quite odd, if your collection already exceeds $50k, and the Lange was part of your '3 watch collection' suggestion......why haven't you moved other pieces to add the Lange then?

Not picking an argument, just genuinely curious!
