Odd Seconds Hand on 16613 Sub.

Hello All,

I have an odd looking seconds hand on my Sub.The back end of the seconds hand is Shorter than any others that I have seen. Have you seen this variation before? The watch IS authentic. It was serviced by RSC Dallas in July last year. It's an F serial 2004? No Holes Case.

16803 pre 16613 model ... No need to fret ...

Here’s an older one I had, with lug holes, and an M-serial. Both were correct and look similar to yours.

Stunner. A Rolex watchmaker armed with a loupe said it's ok. Can't say this is something I'd even look for. I know from staring at dials that the lollipop end normally passes over the 'O' in Rolex and the crosshair on the mercedes hand. I'm surprised more info/examples haven't been posted. Perhaps 5 digit refs are to be discussed in the 'Vintage' section now.

Mine doesn't reach the "O" only passes through "Perpetual" underneath that.

Maybe. I can't say I've noticed. The Vintage section is seriously your best bet. That's where variations of past references are discussed. Here your post is going to get shunted to page 5 within the hour by people gushing over the new SS Pepsi. Or wondering how utterly distraught WG BLRO owners must be.

I have a "P" ser # 16613 slate serti with Sel's, care holes, and gold through the buckle. The lollypop on the second hand fills the hole in the "O" of ROLEX (their caps)
